Roster spots open for the upcoming 2013 season!
The Dallas Woody's Saints have a few roster spots available for the upcoming 2013 season. Anyone interested in playing with the Saints needs to send an email to dallassaintssoftball@gmail.com with their contact information.
The Dallas Woody's Saints are looking to improve on their 2nd place finish in the End of Season Tournament.
Dallas Woody's Saints beat Tomkatz 22-6 in three innings on Sunday at Fair Oaks Field four after an 18-run explosion in the third inning.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the third.
Dallas Woody's Saints finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning.
Daniel Gonzales racked up three RBIs on three hits for Dallas Woody's Saints. Gonzales singled in the second and third innings.
David Fyfe rose to the occasion out of the bullpen, hurling two innings of shutout ball while racking up no strikeouts and giving up one hit and no walks.
Dallas Woody's Saints jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Fyfe, plating Mark Waldrop started the inning off. Dallas Woody's Saints then tacked on more runs when White scored, Fyfe scored, and Seering scored on a fielder's choice.
The third spelled defeat for Tomkatz, as Dallas Woody's Saints grabbed the lead for good. More runners rounded the bases on an RBI double by Henry Re.
Four first-inning runs helped Dallas Woody's Saints to an 8-4 win over D-Force at Fair Oaks Field on Sunday.
David Fyfe racked up three RBIs on two hits for Dallas Woody's Saints. Fyfe singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Bobby Foltz racked up two RBIs on two hits for D-Force. Foltz singled in the first and third innings.
One run in the bottom of the second helped D-Force close its deficit to 5-3. gave D-Force life. Finally, Joanna Glaze got Bryan Venable to ground out to end the threat.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the third, D-Force faced just a 5-4 deficit. triggered D-Force's comeback. Glaze ended the inning by getting Delfino Rodriguez to ground out.
