Dallas Woody's Saints beat Tomkatz 22-6 in three innings on Sunday at Fair Oaks Field four after an 18-run explosion in the third inning.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the third.

Dallas Woody's Saints finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning.

Daniel Gonzales racked up three RBIs on three hits for Dallas Woody's Saints. Gonzales singled in the second and third innings.

David Fyfe rose to the occasion out of the bullpen, hurling two innings of shutout ball while racking up no strikeouts and giving up one hit and no walks.

Dallas Woody's Saints jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Fyfe, plating Mark Waldrop started the inning off. Dallas Woody's Saints then tacked on more runs when White scored, Fyfe scored, and Seering scored on a fielder's choice.

The third spelled defeat for Tomkatz, as Dallas Woody's Saints grabbed the lead for good. More runners rounded the bases on an RBI double by Henry Re.
 

The Dallas Woody's Saints prepare for their upcoming games this weekend against D-Force (1-1) and the Tomkatz (0-2).

Last year, the Saints beat both the D-Force and Tomkatz in the PSSA regular season.  D-Force beat the Saints in the End of Season Tournament.

The Saints will continue to try and keep their offense going.  The Saints have scored in double figures both games to open the season. 

The Saints 3 and 4 hitters (David Fyfe and Matt Seering) have combined to go 10-for-11 with 10 RBIs.
