To all current PSSA league members:

Board elections are currently scheduled to be held the weekend of June 29th & 30th during the season-ending tournament. The following positions are open for elections for a two year term:

· Commissioner
- Candidate: Johnny Russell

· Secretary
- Candidate: Albert Morales

· Competition Coordinator
- Candidate: Matthew Creed

· Public Relations Coordinator
- Candidate: Jesse Baker

We are also taking nominations for the Greg Smith Spirit Award (formerly known as the PEGI award). This award is to recognize a league member who went far and above the call of duty in his/her efforts to support and promote softball in North Texas. The Greg Smith Spirit Award has become the symbol of thanks and gratitude expressed to those that have truly embodied the spirit of our mission statement, both on and off of the field.

Ballot candidate nomination period opens 6 weeks before EOS (May 19, 2013)

Ballot candidate nominations due 4 weeks before EOS (June 2, 2013)

Announcement of candidate names 3 weeks before EOS (June 9, 2013)

Write-In candidate declarations due 2 weeks before EOS (June 16, 2013)

Announcement of write-in candidate names 1 week before EOS (June 23, 2013)

Election during EOS (June 29 - 30, 2013)

Pegasus Slowpitch Softball Association is a Dallas based non profit organization dedicated to the promotion of quality amateur softball of all levels of play for persons of any race, creed, religion, sex or national origin, without prejudice, and with special emphasis placed on the participation of members of the gay community. The goal of the League is to provide a sports outlet for individuals as a means to meet like-minded people, improve their athletic abilities, promote good sportsmanship and organize and promote participation by its' members in social, cultural and charitable activities as may serve our community. We are committed to continued growth of our League, not only in number, but also in striving to give back to our community.
